چکیده
Abstract Motivated by the growing concerns for noise emissions generated interaction between engine jet and airframe surfaces consequent to progressive increase of by-pass ratio in commercial aircraft architectures, we study estimation far-field radiated a an installed configuration based on sensor readings near field jet. We carry out experimental investigation jet-surface phenomena simplified set-up where flat plate is parallel nozzle axis subsonic Real-time performed using empirical linear transfer functions identified near-field sensors observers. The function accuracy are characterised as flow conditions, type streamwise position radial distance edge. This analysis can guide positioning implementation closed-loop control strategies noise.

Nonlinear interaction model of subsonic jet noise.
Noise generation in a subsonic round jet is studied by a simplified model, in which nonlinear interactions of spatially evolving instability modes lead to the radiation of sound. The spatial mode evolution is computed using linear parabolized stability equations. Nonlinear interactions are found on a mode-by-mode basis and the sound radiation characteristics are determined by solution of the Li...

متن کاملOn broadband jet-ring interaction noise and aerofoil turbulence-interaction noise predictions
The aerodynamic noise of a thin rigid annulus (referred to as the ring here) placed in the mixing layer of a subsonic circular jet is investigated in the paper, both theoretically and experimentally. From the experimental point of view, the jet–ring configuration is understood as an axisymmetric alternative to more usual ones involving a rectangular aerofoil held between parallel side plates, d...
متن کاملReal Time Calibration of Strap-down Three-Axis-Magnetometer for Attitude Estimation
Three-axis-magnetometers (TAMs) are widely utilized as a key component of attitude determination subsystems and as such are considered the corner stone of navigation for low Earth orbiting (LEO) space systems. Precise geomagnetic-based navigation demands accurate calibration of the magnetometers. In this regard, a complete online calibration process of TAM is developed in the current research t...
